Ingredients:

- Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought), enough for one 12-inch pizza


- 1/2 cup pizza sauce


- 1 cup cooked ham, sliced or diced


- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned and drained)


- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese


- 1 tablespoon olive oil


- A pinch of salt


- A pinch of black pepper


- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional for garnish)

Method:

- Preheat and Prepare:

- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat as well. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.

- Assemble the Pizza:

- Lightly brush the dough with olive oil. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.


- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Then, evenly distribute the ham and pineapple chunks over the cheese. Top with the remaining mozzarella. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

- Bake:

- Transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

- Serve:

- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. If desired, sprinkle dried oregano on top for an extra layer of flavor. Slice and serve hot.

- For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding the toppings.
