Ingredients:

- 1 bottle of dry red wine (750 ml)


- 1/4 cup brandy


- 1/4 cup orange juice


- 2 tablespoons sugar


- 1 orange, thinly sliced


- 1 lemon, thinly sliced


- 1 lime, thinly sliced


- 1/2 apple, cored and chopped


- 1/2 cup soda water (optional, add before serving)


- Ice cubes (for serving)

Method:

- Combine Ingredients:

- In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

- Add Fruit:

- Add the sliced orange, lemon, lime, and chopped apple to the pitcher. Stir to mix thoroughly.

- Chill:

- Cover and refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together. For optimal flavor, let it chill overnight.

- Serve:

- Just before serving, stir in soda water if desired for a light fizz. Serve in glasses filled with ice cubes.

Notes:

- You can customize your sangria by adding other fruits like peaches, berries, or pineapple.


- For a non-alcoholic version, replace the wine and brandy with grape juice and a splash of lemon-lime soda.
